Flowy Shorts

Hey Everyone,
So I know that it has been a while since I last wrote an entry, SOO sorry! But today I wanted to talk to you guys about Flowy shorts. As summer is coming to an end, I have been looking back at all of the great styles this summer, and one of my favorites is the Flowy shorts trend. I know that that is not the technical name for it, and I don't know what it is, however, this summer I have worn these shorts everywhere. They are super comfortable. I feel like this particular style of short is great for summer because they aren't like jean shorts, in which no one is comfortable in. Also, I feel like they are much more fashionable than jean shorts, because often times jean shorts look very casual. This trend is beyond great and I pray to god that they still are in style by next summer!

Balenciaga City

Hey Everyone,
So, I know that I just did a post on handbags, but this one needed its own post. I am setting a goal that by the end of the summer, I will be able to buy a Balenciaga City bag, newly used off of ebay. I absolutely am in love with this purse. Every time I look at it, I love it even more. I have never bought a purse over $200 before, and that is what I am afraid about. I am afraid that either I will save up all the money, and then my mom won't allow me to buy it because of some reason (because I am still under 18), or I will end up buying it, but after I buy it, it won't be authentic. PLEASE leave comments below and tell me if ebay is trustworthy enough to find a good seller. Moving on. The reason I want this purse as my first big-time designer purse is for a couple of reasons. First of all, I think it is such a beautiful purse, with edge, yet class, also I hear that the leather is possibly the softest out there. Second of all, it is a designer purse, yet it doesn't stand out with the big time logo or anything on it. On Louis Vuitton purses, you can tell because of the print, on Chanel, you can tell because of the "CC". Gucci, Fendi, YSL, even Celines are becoming like this. So I love the fact that people who don't know a whole lot about fashion and purses, don't know that this is in fact a very expensive designer. The one in particular that I want is the Balenciaga Classic City in Gris Pyrite. It is beautiful, and I am in love! Please leave comments with anything about ebay, baleciaga, or your opinions! I would love you constructive criticism!

Show That Back

Hey Everyone,
Today I am going to be talking to y'all about the open back trend that is everywhere right now. I was looking on Pinterest and everything that I saw had a low back, or an open back, or a butterfly back. I am not sure how much I like this trend yet, but it is growing on me. I am just going to show you all a few looks that caught my eye recently
This is a nice open back dress because it doesn't show the entire back, so if you aren't entirely into the trend then you don't have to go all out with it.
I also like these Butterfly back shirts because again they don't show off the entire back, just a small part of it, and it is like business in the front, Party in the back! just kidding, but i do really think that this style is very cute.

So I am about to be off school, finally, which means that I will have more time to blog. I am trying out a couple of new looks to my blog, and I am still not completely in love with it. I am pretty sure the cursive handwriting is maybe too much, so I may end up changing it. If you guys have any ideas that I could use for my blog, go ahead and leave a comment! I jut wanted to go ahead and say that I will be posting more in the next couple months, 1 post every day or other day, so tune in for that. Also, if you would like to, go ahead and follow me by email which is one of the gadgets to the left. I hope you all come back, and see what other things I put up in the future!
Thanks!

Purses I'm Obsessing Over

Hey everyone!
It has been a while but today I am going to show you some of the purses and purse trends I am in love with currently. I hope this is helpful to everyone who is in the market for a new purse!

Rebecca Minkoff: I believe Rebecca Minkoff is a great designer brand because the bags are super high quality, and they aren't extremely expensive.
I love this Mini MAC from Rebecca Minkoff because not only the style (which is a classic style from her) but also the color! Mini Mac in Light Turquoise with Gold Hardware. I think this is a great neutral blue that you can match to go with anything. Definitely a favorite! $195.00
I just recently purchased this Rebecca Minkoff Swing Shoulder Bag. I absolutely am in love with it. The size of this purse is perfect for me. It is bigger than the MAC (same style as Mini MAC just a little bigger) but not quite as big as some of her totes and other big bags. This light beige color is a great year round color, but it is just perfect for the summer and spring. I love the braided chain, i think it makes it look even more expensive--Chanel quality. $295.00

Kate Spade: Kate Spade purses are a little more expensive than Rebecca Minkoff, traditionally, however still in an affordable price range. They always have very bright and fun pieces too.
I am in love with the Madison Ave. Collection 2 Park Avenue Beau bag from Kate Spade. I think the shape of this bag is a classic piece and can instantly "fancy up" your look. The Beau Bag is so beautiful, and when I saw it in this croc leather, I about lost it! I want this bag so badly, I just think it is adorable. $698.00

Tory Burch: Of course I had to include a little TB, I mean who doesn't love Tory Burch. All of her purses are timeless and I have always love to obsess over them.
This is the Tory Burch Soft Straw Multi Shoulder Bag. I think this is such a cut bag for the summer time. I think that the straw gives it a really unique look, but the navy blue leather tones it down and makes it more wearable. The size of it is great if you are looking for something similar in size to the Rebecca Minkoff Swing. $350.00

Chanel: And even though I may never get the chance to own a Chanel purse, doesn't mean I can't dream about getting one. Right?
If you cannot tell, I am loving this size bag. The Chanel Classic 2.55 Jumbo in Beige Caviar Leather, is infact my dream purse. Chanel is a timeless, classic designer. Once you have the opportunity to get one, you can keep it for the rest of your life because they will never go out of style. I was considering putting the black one on here, but right now, I want this one in particular because I think this color you can wear year round. The black one is a little more hard to wear in the spring and summer and this one is a little more hard to wear in the winter, but I honestly think this one is easier to wear overall. This purse is very expensive, and I am hopeful that I will one day be able to purchase it. $1,695.00

SPRING!

Hey Everyone!
I am so sorry for being away for so long, but I am back. Hopefully I can get back on track and get my blog going again! Speaking of which, I have created another blog. This blog has more pictures than detailed entries, and it also has more home decor and beauty things as well. Here is the link. Also, do not judge yet because the set up of it is not quite complete. But getting in to this entry. SPRING IS FINALLY HERE. Coming from where I live, I am so excited for this spring because this winter feels especially long! I am so excited to be able to wear shorts and tank tops. From what I have seen, We have some awesome things to look forward to this spring, fashion-wise.

Of course, like every spring, pastels are back. This is to be expected because for the last years pastels have been huge in the spring because everyone is so done with wearing dull colors. I think that it is very important not to go overboard with the pastels, because ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! It is really cute to wear a piece in your wardrobe that is pastel, with other, more neutral, colors. Here are some looks to incorporate pastels into your look:

This next trend I am very excited about: Wide Legged Trousers. I think it looks so cute to wear linen wide legged pants in the spring and summer. They are so comfortable and fun. Another great thing about them is that they make your legs look longer, and they make you look taller, which is never a bad thing. It is also really fun to get a pair of pants that have a fun print on them and use them as your staple piece. The first picture down below are a pair of linen wide legs, and the other are a fun print. Here are some great looks for wide legged trousers:

The last trend I am going to share with you guys today are crop tops. My style does not necessarily include crop tops, but while is was seeing what I could find on Pinterest, I actually found some great stuff that I would totally buy. Now, when I think cropped top, I automatically think of that Boho Chic kind of look, AKA Californian. I think crop tops are great because they are comfortable, but for the hot air, they really let you breathe. Which is important. For the pictures I've shown you the typical crop top outfit that I think is so cute, and for those of you who aren't really into that hype I included a completely different approach (Which is my favorite of the two). Here are some pictures of cute crop top outfits:

And those are the trends that I have to share with y'all today, and I hope you enjoyed this and found it informative. Again, go check out the other blog that I have linked up above
Thanks!
